STANDARD SPARTAN MODEL PB 2022 HEAVY DUTY DUAL POST, HORIZONTAL, SEMI AUTOMATIC METAL CUTTING BANDSAW WITH 7.5 H.P. AND 1 1/2” BLADE

Heavy Duty Construction: The saw frame is constructed of 3/4” plate stock with an 8” square tube running across its top to prevent deflection when the blade is put under tension.
Blade Tension: Hydraulically controlled tension (40,000 psi) provides consistent square cutting accuracy. The Motion Detector will shut the machine off should a blade break or stall.
Speed Range: Blade speeds are variable through a step pulley and a heavy duty Worm Gear Transmission. Blade speeds are 55, 80, 115, 150, 180, 215, and 250 SFPM. The broad speed range allows for optimum cutting of a large spectrum of materials.
Hydraulic Down Feed: Feed rate and pressure can be controlled independently for fast, accurate cutting. Setup is made easy through the color-coded dial allowing the operator to select the best setting for the type of material being cut.
Motors: Blade Drive: 7 1/2 H.P. (5.5 kW). Hydraulic Pump Motor: 2 H.P. (1.5 kW). Coolant Pump Motor: 1/4 H.P. (.2kW).
Blade Guides: A combination of roller bearing and hydraulically actuated carbide blade guides assure the blade is held taut for fast, accurate cuts. The cast guide arms are positioned manually.
Chip Brush: Powered from the main drive shaft of the saw, the brush changes speed along with the blade to assure that chips are being removed from each gullet of the blade, improving cutting performance.
Height Selector: To reduce the machine’s cycle time, the upward return of the saw frame can be limited through a variable height selector and can be set for 0-20”.
Cut Indicator Light: The cut line indicator light is positioned on the dovetail above the blade and casts a shadow indicating the true cut line which aids in set-up and assures first cut accuracy.
Positioning Roller: A serrated feed roller hydraulically raises the work piece approximately .062” above the vise base to allow for precise positioning. A ratchet handle makes set-up fast and easy.
Vise Jaws: The split vise jaws allow for clamping the work piece on both sides of the cut, reducing vibration to extend blade life and holding the material more secure for straighter cuts.
Weight Capacity: The machine’s weight capacity is 15,000 lbs. allowing cutting of solids and billets to the machine’s maximum capacity.
